Here’s the map: Google Maps  (Click "Satellite" or "Earth" at upper-right for terrain detail.)

Mike__Horses_in_Field_MediumThey call it “barn sour”, when the horse your riding decides it’s had enough and heads for home. Mike and I woke up barn sour ourselves this morning and headed back to Alaska without delay.  (Well, except to see the horses.)

Mike_drives_GTA_MediumMike drove GTA (Grand Theft Auto), just like Dalia back in France. He had no patience for anyone who got in his way.  Caught a picture of him with his game face on.  Sometimes I had to close my eyes and go to a happy place.

By the way – Mike’s a meteorologist and a TV personality. He hosts the Alaska Weather show on PBS from time to time. (Just in case he looks familiar to you.)

Orange_Mtn_MediumA BIG thank you to the volunteers and sponsors of the Yukon River Trail Marathon for a great event! Much appreciated.

Thanks for another epic adventure Mike, and especially for your friendship.

That’s a wrap.
