Nunatak News No. 4: In Cobar

In November of 2009, I visited the GREAT Country of Australia.  I really fell in love...  In fact, I have many future plans for that land, but I digress.  This is about a connection I made last year and a request from Oz.  Only to happy to help my friends Down Under.

I left my Nunatak card with the nice women at Bizzy B’s, a wonderful café in Cobar, New South Wales.  (I had these delicious little pancakes with scoops of vanilla ice cream and a long black (an "Americano" to you Yanks) - Yum!)

A few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised to get an e-mail from Denise and Patsy asking for a photo with their town’s tourist and information guide. Apparently, there is a contest on! Whoever from Cobar can get a photo of this magazine from the furthest away, wins! So, naturally they thought of their Alaskan Buddy (me!). 

I’ve been carrying around “In Cobar” like a Flat Stanley doll. Here are some examples of what I'll be sending my Aussie gals:
